What was the highlight of Hotel Petit Cala Fornells
Old expensive hotel, close to beautiful beach
Situated in a quiet area, amazing tiny beach close by. Pool area is nice. Overall views are very nice, sea view from the room, from the pools, almost everywhere. Nice gardens on the property as well! Sparking wine available for breakfast - this was a nice touch! The balcony had sun loungers, very cosy.
Very old, very outdated property. Maintained poorly, the small repair work very visible everywhere. First room we got on 1st floor (106) had water infiltrated in the walls on the hallway. We then switched to a better room 3rd floor (303). Very old aircon installation. The water would sit in the installation over night and in the morning it smelled badly. Many many stairs and intricate pathways. Breakfast was not a 5 star hotel selection. You could tell they were frugal/ trying to cut costs. We requested pancakes for example and received a half of 1 big crepe each. I do not support throwing food away, but for 5 stars… not ok. Breakfast is also only available until 10:00, so from 9:00 to 10:00 is fully jam packed and existing staff can barely keep up.

Its listed as a 5 star, but the facility is too dated for 5 star. Nice rooms and great location, but the place needs an update. Weed growing in the pool area, very old dangerous fitness equipment not to standard.

Staff were nice and food was good. Room was nice and big. Good wine.
Outdated, need refurbishing and very confusing with levels and different rooms/ restaurants/ bars. Too expensive for what it is.

Quirky hotel in a lovely part of Majorca.
A very characteristic hotel. Beautiful views and out of the main town centre. Great places to eat and shops in the main town but it is a taxi ride away.
Lots and lots of steps.
